SETH ELLSWORTH

Pastor

Prior to moving to NM, Destiny served as children's director in a Louisiana church, and is gifted in many areas. Raising three children in a homeschool setting, she relates well to the needs of the young and practices creative ways to instill the Word of God in their lives. Destiny's organizational skills facilitate effective ministry through adult volunteers necessary for safe, thorough and positive results. Destiny and her husband, Jeremy, reside in Clovis with their active teen sons, Carter and Cade.

RONNIE COLE

Worship Ministry

Gifted in musical ability, Ronnie desires to bring honor to our Savior by inspiring His people to truly worship. He started out at South Plains College in a commercial music program and topped it with degrees from Texas Tech in psychology and biology, researching and eventually publishing papers on Alzheimer's. He added to his resume licenses in investment, insurance and real-estate, and answered the call to music for a church plant before being led to serve at Waypoint. Ronnie and Shannon, who serves in our children's ministry, married in 2006, and are raising two daughters and a son, while managing a real estate business.

RHONDA HILL

Ministry Facilitator

Rhonda was born and raised in this area, graduating from Texico High and then ENMU. Working in church administrative ministries for over 30 years has fueled a desire to love and serve families with a constant appreciation for the grace and provisions of God in the lives of His followers. It is Rhonda's goal to facilitate ministries and work alongside those serving at Waypoint, for the edification of the saints and for the advancement of the Gospel of Christ to this community.

CHLOE BUTLER

Ministry Assistant

Chloe grew up in Arizona and moved to Clovis with her husband, Gavin, in 2022. With experience working in college ministry for the Navigators, she is passionate about discipleship and seeing people grow in their relationship with God. Chloe also has a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and a background with graphic design and event planning. She hopes to serve Waypoint by assisting the body of Christ as they serve each other and the people around them.

HANNAH PAYNE

Preschool Ministry

Hannah grew up in New Mexico, immersed in Christian children's ministry, so much so that it has become second nature.

Hannah's gentle spirit, and experience in administration, combined with her professional career in nursing, definitely enhances the lively preschool ministry of Waypoint. Gus and Hannah are the proud parents of two children.

DUWAIN HILL and BO STEVENS

Elders

Bo, pictured far right, attended Abilene Christian University, where he met his wife, Dru. The couple married in 2006 and are raising four lovely daughters while embracing farm life. They enjoy traveling, meeting new people, teaching and showing hospitality to the body of Christ. Bo brings much to the table in our small group and administrative ministries, and is a gifted preacher-teacher.

Duwain served the City of Clovis until retirement as a Lieutenant Fire Fighter. He is gifted in construction and woodworking, and enjoys ministering in these areas. Duwain & Rhonda also find joy in teaching preschoolers, serving elderly, and spending time with their two adult sons and daughter-in-law.

Seth pursued an undergrad degree in speech communication at ENMU, and received a Master's Degree in Apologetics and Philosophy from Southern Evangelical Seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is a gifted teacher and a compassionate pastor, having served as a youth minister and associate pastor for many years before planting Waypoint in 2017.

Pastor Seth loves teaching, studying, and reading, as well as fellowship and worship with believers. Seth's aim as a Pastor-Teacher is to teach rightly the Bible, so as to equip the saints to bear fruit in their lives and in service to our Lord. Seth and his wife Jill, a registered nurse, married in 2006, and are joyfully raising three daughters and two sons.
