Eddie Penney
Eddie Penney is a combat veteran with over 20 years of military service, including as a U.S. Navy SEAL and operator with SEAL Team 6, one of the most elite special operations units in the world. After retiring from the military, Eddie founded Contingent Group in 2013 — a security and consulting firm that provides global solutions for individuals, families, and corporations facing high-risk situations and complex threats.


Today, Eddie is the founder and driving force behind UNAFRAID — an apparel, media and mindset platform empowering people to confront life’s battles through faith, courage, and leadership. Through unfiltered storytelling, coaching, speaking engagements, and podcasts, Eddie equips others to face adversity head-on and live boldly with purpose.

Dennis Call
Dennis Call currently serves as the Director, House Liaison
Division, in the Office of Congressional and Legislative Affairs for
the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Washington, D.C.
Prior to joining the Army Dennis served as the Director of College Ministries at First Baptist Church in Texico, N.M. where he mentored students at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, N.M.

Dennis and his wife Katie have been married for 25 years. They live in Fairfax Station,
VA with four of their five children (three sons, Jacob 20, Jonathan 16, Andrew 14 and
one daughter, Sarah 12), their oldest son Asa (22) is a Marine stationed at Camp
Pendleton in San Diego, California. His wife Katie is a 5 th Grade teacher at Immanuel
Christian School in Springfield, Virginia. A Lay Elder at Immanuel Bible Church, where
he and his family attend and faithfully serve the Body of Christ.

Dennis served in a wide variety of leadership assignments over his
fourteen years on active duty, most notably as a rifle platoon
leader and battalion mortar platoon leader with 3rd Battalion,
187th Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault),
​
As an Army Congressional Fellow, Dennis earned a Master of Professional Studies in
Legislative Affairs from the Graduate School of Political Management at George
Washington University. In 2013, he served in the office of Republican Senator Richard
Burr of North Carolina. Following his fellowship year, he completed a two-year
assignment as a Congressional Liaison with the Army Staff at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.

His awards include the Bronze Star Medal for valor, the Bronze Star Medal (with 3 Oak
Leaf Clusters), the Army Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal (with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters), the Army Achievement Medal, the Army Staff Identification Badge, the Combat Infantry Badge, Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, and the Ranger Tab.
